WHAT EXACTLY IS CONNEXION GROUPS?
Think of a connexion group as a mini-community within our larger church family. It's typically a gathering of 8-15 people who meet regularly to build relationships, discuss faith, support each other, and grow together spiritually.

Connexion groups are a fantastic way to connect on a deeper level than you might during a Sunday service. They offer a safe space to ask questions, share experiences, receive prayer, and truly feel known and supported. It’s where faith becomes personal and practical.
WHAT DO CONNEXION GROUPS TYPICALLY DO WHEN THEY MEET?
While each group has its unique formatting, most connexion groups spend time discussing the weekly sermon or study a specific Bible passage, sharing life updates and prayer requests, and simply enjoying fellowship. Some groups might also serve together in the community or share meals.
HOW OFTEN DO CONNEXION GROUPS MEET AND FOR HOW LONG?
Most small groups meet weekly. Meeting times and durations can vary, but generally, a meeting lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. Some groups may take breaks during holidays or over the summer
WHERE DO CONNEXION GROUPS MEET?
Most of our connexion groups meet on campus in various locations. We know families are busy so we try to make it convenient for everyone! Some groups will have off campus gatherings in people's homes, while others might gather at a local restaurant or coffee shop. When you sign up, you'll see the general location for each group.
IS THERE A COST TO JOIN A CONNEXION GROUP?
Generally, there is no cost to join a connexion group. Occasionally, a group might use a study guide or book that members can choose to purchase, but this is always optional and communicated upfront.
WHAT IF I'M SHY OR NEW TO THE CHURCH?
Connexion groups are an excellent way to get connected and feel more comfortable, especially if you're new or a bit shy. The smaller setting allows for more personal interactions, and leaders are equipped to help everyone feel welcome and included.

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH TO JOIN A CONNEXION GROUP?
Not at all! Connexion groups are open to everyone, whether you're a long-time member, new to the church, or just curious about Connexus. We welcome anyone who wants to connect and grow.
IS CHILDCARE PROVIDED DURING CONNEXIUON GROUP MEETINGS?
Childcare arrangements vary by group. For the most part there is child care for ages 3+. However, at this time, most groups don't have an option for childcare for newborn- 36 months. When you browse groups, look for details about childcare options, or feel free to ask the leader.
WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A CONNEXION GROUP BEFORE?
No worries! Everyone is at a different place in their spiritual journey and together we are learning what it looks like to be more like Jesus, while building friendships that encourage and care.
